Brisbane Hot Topics is a group run by and for people with intellectual disability. Everyone with an intellectual disability is welcome to join our group.
If you join our group you get to:
- Have your own voice
- Learn about things important to us
- Help others to speak up
Each year we decide and plan the topics we will talk about. Each month we have a different Hot Topic we talk about.
Some topics we have spoken about include:
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Housing
- Transport

- Safety
- Human Rights
- Relationships
